6 Things A Lady Does Not Do!

I absolutely adore a good “Historical Fiction” book. One of the Gems we have lost in our modern society is the beauty of simply being a Lady. In Today’s “TOXIC Culture” the masses have become OBSESSED with Competing or trying to be Men! They have lost the meaning and value of being a Lady. There is a delicate, yet, strong power in being a Lady!

What is a Lady? Girl, I am so glad you asked. Ha!

Merriam-Webster defines a “Lady” as someone who is female, a woman; a woman of refinement and gentle manners.

The Creator constructed Women, uniquely different then Men. And….That is a Good THANG! Ha! We were created to compliment each other. Unfortunately, a lot of the influence and role models in “Today’s Toxic Culture” has led many females astray. 

This blog is not intended to condemn or make you feel bad. It’s actually intended to enlighten and empower you on this delicate topic! 

Wheww! Now that we got that disclaimer out of the way, let’s discuss 6 things a Lady “does not” and “does do!” 

1. A Lady Does Not Live A Lifestyle of Laziness:

A Lady lives her life with purpose! She’s intentional with being fruitful and productive in her life. That does not include being a “workaholic.” A lady is strategic with how she manages time and organizes daily tasks. She knows when to relax and rest. However, a Lady does not indulge in idleness.

2. A Lady Does Not Neglect Her Health:

A Lady is intentional about tending to her temple and embracing a healthy lifestyle.  A Lady avoids engaging in toxic habits and behaviors that will have a negative impact on her Physical Health, Mental Health, Walk with God, and Relationships. Lastly, a Lady prioritizes consuming a healthy diet, engaging in physical activities or regular exercises. 

3. A Lady Does Not Blame Her Actions on Her Emotions:

It’s very important to be intune with your emotions. As women, our hormones, diet, lifestyle, health, and external influences can impact our emotions positively or negatively.  However, a Lady is self-aware and strives to keep her emotions in-check. And…if a Lady happens to get “caught up” in her “feelings”....she’s “Woman” enough to take responsibility for her actions. In addition, to swallow her pride and apologize if needed! 

4. A Lady Does Not Tell All Her Business:

A Lady uses discretion when it comes to the details of her life! She does not BLAST all of her “Personal Business” or “Drama” on SOCIAL Media, at work, or to everyone she knows and meets. 

5. A Lady Does Not Act Like A Fool In Public:

A Lady is aware of her image on Social Media and in Public!  She is not a slave to the opinions of men or trying to impress others. A Lady does not purposely draw attention to herself by being loud, rude, or wearing skimpy clothing. However, a Lady is mindful of how she interacts with others, how she speaks, the attire that she wears, and intentional with her actions!

6. A Lady Does Not Act Masculine:

A Lady realizes that God uniquely created Women to compliment and not compete against Men. A Lady embraces the power of being a feminine woman in the way she dresses, her speech, and the choices that she makes. A Lady understands the power in being a “Woman” and that being a “Weaker Vessel” is an asset!
